PASTOR
Father Stuart H. Pinette was
born and raised in New Milford, CT. He received
a B.A. in History from the University of Hartford, an
M.A. in Politics & Philosophy from the University of
Oxford, a Master of Divinity and a Licentiate in
Ecclesiology (Theology of the Church) from St Mary’s
Seminary & University. In the 12 years that he’s been
ordained, Fr Stu served for 4 years as Assistant
Pastor of Blessed Sacrament Parish in Hamden, for 2
years as Administrator of St. Michael Parish in
Hartford, for 2 months as Emergency Temporary
Administrator of St. Bernadette Parish in New Haven
and for 5 years as Pastor of St. Mary Magdalen Parish
& School in Oakville. In addition to his parish
ministry Fr. Stu serves on the Bioethics Committee of
the Franciscan Life Center in Meriden. He is a member
of the Advisory Board of the Office of Small Christian
Communities of the Archdiocese of Hartford and a
member of the Formation Faculty of the Archdiocese of
Hartford Office of the Diaconate. |

DEACON
Mike
Shelto joined Saint Elizabeth Seton in October,
2003. He was ordained to the permanent diaconate June
21, 1986 and has been serving in ministry at Saint
James Church in Rocky Hill for the past 17 years.
Deacon Mike, and his wife Peg, have lived in Rocky
Hill for 32 years and have 3 grown sons - David,
Anthony and Michael Jr. |

DIRECTOR OF MUSIC
Elizabeth V. Husmer joined the community in
1996 after serving in a similar capacity at Saint
Helena Church in West Hartford. Elizabeth resides in
Newington and has two degrees from the Hartt School of
Music. She ministers full-time at Saint Elizabeth
Seton, and gives private voice and piano lessons. |

EARLY
CHILDHOOD PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Lori Andrada
and her husband Gil live
in Newington with their three children, Kiyomi, Jeff
and Kendra. Lori has a Masters degree in child
development and family studies from Purdue University
and Gil often plays guitar and sings with the Music
Ministry. Lori also has completed the 4-year Catholic
Biblical School program of the Archdiocese of
Hartford. |

PASTORAL MINISTER
Eileen Bransfield
has been a member of Saint
Elizabeth Seton for fifteen years. She has served in
liturgical ministries for much of that time. Eileen
has completed several graduate courses in Religious
Studies. She holds certificates in Lay Ministry and
in Spirituality. Eileen's studies and prayer have led
her to a deep love for the liturgical life of the
Church and an appreciation for the power of the
liturgy to change our hearts and our world. |

OFFICE
SUPPORT
Janet Lloyd
is the newest addition to the Saint Elizabeth Seton
staff. She is full time clerical support as well as
assisting with the Faith Development program. Janet
has a BA in Sociology from Sacred Heart University,
and has previously worked at Saint Joseph College and
Wheeler Clinic. She lives in Farmington with her
husband David and her two children. |

OFFICE SUPPORT
June K. Sweeney
and her husband, Mark, have been active members of
Saint Elizabeth Seton right from the start. They both
were actively involved in the building of the worship
space, with Mark as the co-chair of the building
committee. They have two children and one
granddaughter and one grandson at the time of
printing! June works full-time as an office support
person. |
